Central Oregon offers a wonderful variety of hikes, but as recreation pressure has increased, it has become harder to find solitude in our wild places. I've spent many years hiking and many days scouring maps and satellite images to find those out of the way spots that are just as amazing as more overrun places. Thousand year old juniper woodlands, desert canyons, windswept rimrock viewpoints, trailless scrambles and forgotten tracks await us. We'll find a hike that suits your ability and preferences within half an hour's drive of town.
