CO | Run | Mt. Falcon: Introduction to Trail Running

Mt. Falcon is located in the foothills about 40 outside of Denver, and is home to castle ruins and stunning views of Denver and Red Rocks. Mt. Falcon also features an extensive network of trails. We will meet in the parking lot to begin with some dynamic stretching as I learn about your running experience and trail ambitions. From the parking lot we will start with a slow jog to warm up our legs on mostly flat, gentle trails. We will run to the ruins and begin to play with some more difficult terrain. Then we’ll bring it home playing on one of the more difficult trails at Mt. Falcon, which will return us to the parking lot for some final stretches and any final notes or questions. All that being said, you run the show! We can run anywhere from 2 to 6 miles and the speed and difficulty are all adjustable to ensure your safety and satisfaction!
