CA | Hike | Tide Pools and Low Tide Cave

Let's go 9 miles north of Santa Cruz to Davenport. I will show you my favorite tide pooling spot where we will see starfish, anemones, urchins and large mussels. If you are interested in harvesting some mussels, let me know and I will organize license for the day.
After tide pooling, we will continue our hike along the cliffs where we will climb up and down over some small cliff sides towards an exposed cave to walk through during low tide.

About Me: I'm a Santa Cruz local with over 20 years experience as a naturalist searching out the healthiest intertidal zones from Santa Cruz to Southern Baja. Combining my love for marine biology, California surf and sunshine led me to start Sanctuary Salt Walks. Guided coastal hikes to inspire and build a healthier, environmentally conscious community of beach lovers. My experience is free flowing, my routes are lesser known and primitive.
