Oregon Whitewater Adventures is the only outfitter on the McKenzie River offering a trip on this section of the river.  

Come with us to explore the very upper reaches of the McKenzie River.  Putting in at Olallie Campground, you will cover 4.5 miles of river that no one else does including the only real Class III rapid on the river, Fish Ladder! In addtion to explorring a more remote section of river, this trip will also include additional refreshments to be enjoyed before and after the trip.

This trip is best for the more adventurous and athletic paddler.

Because of the increased difficulty of this section of river, there are a couple additional considerations:

• The put in involves a wooden slide and manouvering in to the boat from a rocky river bank.  The river is also very countinous and will require more paddling.
• The minimum age for this trip is 10 years old.
• The maximum group size for this trip is 12 people or 2 rafts.
• For increased safety, there will always be two guides and two watercraft on this trip.  Either two rafts or a raft and a safety kayaker.
• This trip will always have our most experienced guides, averaging more than 10 years of experience on the McKenzie
