Go beyond the basics. Learn to handle what the wall throws at you.
Not every climb goes to plan—and when things get complicated, your response matters.
This two-day, hands-on course is built for experienced climbers (especially those moving through multipitch terrain) who want to sharpen real-world rescue skills in vertical environments.
What you’ll train for:
– Managing rappels when your rope isn’t long enough
– Assisting a partner who can’t unweight the system
– Raising or lowering a climber in exposed terrain
– Escaping a loaded belay smoothly and efficiently
– Supporting a stuck rappeller from above or below
– Working confidently on weighted ropes
– Making clear decisions under pressure
This is not a beginner course. You should already be solid with belaying, rappelling, anchor building, and have some multipitch experience.
Why it matters:
Rescue skills are part of climbing. When things go sideways, efficiency and clarity make all the difference.
Approach:
Real scenarios. Hands-on problem solving. Skills you’ll actually use.
