Bow & Arrow is Moab’s most visually diverse half-day canyon. Ideal for families and first-timers, this route combines technical rappelling with a deep dive into the region's Jurassic history.

Your private journey begins along the Colorado River corridor, passing fossilized dinosaur tracks and ancient petroglyphs. After a scenic hike to Longbow Arch, you’ll navigate a sequence of four rappels ranging from 10 to 110 feet through stunning desert alcoves.

110-Foot Free-Hanging Rappel:
Experience the thrill of a massive vertical descent through one of the most iconic sandstone features in the area.

Check-in details

Please arrive at the meeting point 10–15 minutes before your scheduled start time. If you are more than 30 minutes late without contacting us, the trip may be canceled without refund.

The meeting location is a designated trailhead outside of Moab. GPS coordinates and detailed driving directions will be provided in your confirmation email. Cell service may be limited—download directions in advance and plan accordingly.

  • Closed-toe hiking shoes or approach footwear

  • Sun protection: hat, sunscreen, sunglasses

  • Water (minimum 1L recommended per person)

  • Snacks for the day
