Our Full-Day Tours are designed to provide exceptional wildlife-viewing opportunities throughout Yellowstone’s Northern Range, with a primary focus on Lamar Valley and the Slough Creek area. Tours meet at Tower Junction, making this location convenient for guests staying in Mammoth, Gardiner, or Canyon Village. Please note that Tower Junction may not be ideal for visitors lodging in West Yellowstone due to the extended travel required to reach the meeting point.

Each full-day experience also includes an optional guided hike tailored to your group’s abilities. We recommend bringing appropriate footwear to ensure a comfortable and enjoyable outing.

The tour start time will be confirmed prior to your outing and may vary based on seasonal conditions, daylight, and anticipated wildlife activity.

FOOD & BEVERAGES:
Begin your day with Silver Gate’s own Grizzly Coffee and a selection of hot beverages, served alongside a variety of breakfast items. A full sandwich lunch is also provided to ensure you stay energized throughout your tour.

OPTICS:
To enhance your wildlife-viewing experience, we provide all guests with premium Swarovski or Vortex binoculars and high-powered spotting scopes. Our guides will assist you with setup, focusing, and proper use, ensuring you enjoy the clearest possible views of Yellowstone’s wildlife—whether you’re observing distant wolf packs, grazing bison herds, or elusive bears across the valley.
