Onward Mountain Guides is delighted to offer group hikes for individuals seeking a community experience to tick summits in the High Peaks. Our group hikes are a great way to gain confidence for those tough and remote peaks, refine your backcountry skills, and meet new hiking friends!
Looking for overnight group backpacking trips? We also offer 2-day and 3-day backpacking trips to summit remote peaks!

These treks demand a high level of physical fitness to complete them within the available daylight hours. OMG reserves the right to deny participation if an individual’s participation compromises group safety.
Group size is limited to 4 participants plus their 1 guide. Our small group sizes allow us to provide more individual attention to each client and move more efficiently, which increases our odds of a successful summit. (Though summits are never guaranteed.)
Please arrive packed and ready to hike. After introductions and a comprehensive trip overview, we’ll embark on our journey to this summit. Along the way, we’ll discuss safe backcountry travel and immerse ourselves in the rich natural history of the Adirondacks. Trips are led by Jarrod Blundy, the owner and lead guide of Onward Mountain Guides, unless otherwise noted.
Prior hiking experience is highly recommended. Good physical condition, appropriate clothing, and proper equipment are essential.
