Hamlin Lake Rod and Reel Trip

Location

Ludington, Michigan

Group Size

Max 4 people

Duration

4 hours

May and June are hands down the best months to target fish on Hamlin Lake.  As the water begins to warm, panfish make their way to the shallows to spawn.  During this time not only do the crappie, sunfish, bluegill and bass appear in abundant numbers, but their veracious appetite makes them susceptible to a simple bobber / worm presentation.

Looking for something a little bigger than a panfish?  May and June are also a great time to target pike, walleye, and fresh water drum by trolling along Hamlin Lake’s many drop offs and weed beds.  Not only do these fish put up a good fight, but deep fried pike and walleye are hard to beat!

Join Captain Bryan as he guides you to some of the “hot spots” that he has fished since he was a kid.  All fishing equipment is provided.  A perfect activity for the whole family.
