During this hike, you will complete nearly 18 miles and just over 4,000 feet of elevation gain. It is a moderate hike with amazing views.
The Triple Crown consists of the following hikes:
McAfee's Knob
Tinker Cliffs
Dragon's Tooth
You will need water and trail snacks along the way. Your booking fee will cover the Friday evening meet/greet/briefing with Pizza and Salad.
Book your hotel by April 18, 2025, for a discounted rate of $149/night +tax.
Reservations can be made by calling the hotel at 540-389-2424 or 800-426-7866 and requesting the FBI National Academy group rate until Friday, April 18, 2025.

We are excited for the upcoming trip! As a reminder, there are some things you may want need to bring with you to enjoy the outdoor experience fully.
* Backpack / Daypack
Clothing & Footwear
* Outdoor appropriate clothing (Below is a list from REI)
* Moisture-wicking underwear
* Moisture-wicking T-shirts
* Quick-drying pants/shorts
* Long-sleeve shirts (for sun, bugs)
* Lightweight fleece or jacket
* Boots or shoes suited to terrain
* Socks (synthetic or wool)
* Additional items for rainy and/or cold weather:
* Rainwear (jacket and pants)
