Summer Climbing Camp (Ages 14-17)

Location

San Diego, California

Group Size

4 people per guide

Duration

6 hours

These 3 day camps are designed to inspire growth, connection, and awe in young climbers while immersing them in the beauty of San Diego’s natural landscape over summer break. Located in Mission Gorge, our camps focus on outdoor rock climbing and nature connection. Students will learn about the human impact on the environment and the rich biodiversity in this beautiful outdoor setting.

Throughout the camp, participants will gain essential technical skills such as belaying, knot tying, and proper gear application. They will also connect with their mind and body through movement, developing climbing techniques that enhance physical and mental awareness. Our small group environment fosters deep connection, enabling students to build lasting relationships with their peers while nurturing a sense of community.

By the end of the camp, students will not only have strengthened their climbing abilities but will also carry with them a deeper appreciation for nature, the outdoors, and their own personal growth.

All camps begin at 8:00am and end at 2:00pm at Mission Trails Regional Park Visitors Center.

All camps are exclusively and intentionally developed for students ages 11-14 & 14-17. Questions about which group your climber should register for? Reach out to us via email at info@sdclimbingschool.org
