Hosted at the We Send Climbing Festival on Saturday, April 26. from 8:45am-3:45pm with Guide Meg Yingling, and mental health professional, Laurel Cepero.
Join Meg Yingling and Laurel Cepero, for a 6-hour workshop that integrates nervous system education to create more grounded and confident climbing experiences. In this workshop, we’ll explore therapeutic principles from Dialectical Behavioral Therapy and Interpersonal Neurobiology, applying them to climbing to foster greater presence and resilience, both on and off the wall.
Walk away from this session with a deeper self-awareness of your nervous system, practical grounding and regulation techniques, and tools to improve your mental clarity and performance.
This workshop is for you if:
- You love climbing but often feel terrified, agitated, or shut down at the crag.
- Climbing partnerships feel strained, and you struggle with trust or vulnerability in your relationships with climbing partners.
- You frequently fall short of your own expectations, leaving you feeling stressed, anxious, or ashamed.
- You long to be fully present at the crag, but fear, doubt, or overwhelm get in your way.
- You want to push your limits in climbing but feel hindered by mental barriers.
Ready to climb grounded and gritty? This workshop is designed to help you do just that.
