Day 1: Rock Climbing

Explore climbing spots in Big Cottonwood Canyon like Storm Mountain or the SLC Slips. We will set goals with the kids at the start of the day.  We focus on celebrating every success whether it’s tying good knots, getting 5’ off the wall, making it further than last time, encouraging others, or making it to the top.

Day 2: Paddle Boarding

Enjoy a day of paddle boarding at a scenic spot. The kids are required to wear a life jacket at all times while on the water.

Day 3: Hiking and Fishing

Embark on a hike, likely to Bloods Lake or Lackawaxen, for a day filled with adventure. The hike is approximately 5 miles round trip with a 1230’ elevation gain. Other options are Lake Mary and Lake Martha, Cecret Lake and Devils Castle, and Dog Lake in Mill Creek.

Day 4: Mountain Biking

Experience beginner-friendly mountain biking at locations like the Corner Canyon pump track or Round Valley in Park City. We will start small and work up.  Kids should have some previous experience before the camp so that they are a little bit comfortable.  If they want to do a private day ahead of time, we can arrange that.

Day 5: Kid’s Choice

Let the kids decide on their favorite activity from the week to repeat.

Note: We may move the activities to different days based on the weather or the kid’s energy levels.

Hours: Camp runs from 9 am to 4 pm, with drop-off between 8:30 am and 9 am. Pick-up is between 4 – 4:30 pm. We will meet at the Cottonwood Heights Recreation Center on the playground.
