Review and hone skills learned in the AMGA Single Pitch Instructor Course in preparation for an assessment, in a queer affinity setting.
In this session, you’ll work with queer, AMGA certified instructors and your peers to build confidence and exam readiness by practicing assessment scenarios, getting feedback on your systems, and answers to those pesky questions that have come up in your practice.
Learning Outcomes
Courses are kept at a small ratio, and the curriculum is designed by our guides for each cohort - based on the feedback and desired outcomes of each individual. This day will be customized to set you up for success!
Prerequisites
- You have taken an AMGA SPI Course and are working toward preparing for the assessment
- You are a current, active outdoor rock climber who has a real desire to teach rock climbing to novices in a single pitch setting
- You are capable of comfortably climbing 5.8 while on a top rope
- You are able to comfortably lead 5.6 traditional routes, which means you place protection
