In our Intro to Rock course we show you the basics of sport climbing, the simplest and safest form of climbing. 

This exciting discipline is a great entryway for those looking to get into rock climbing, and dedicated practitioners can take the fundamentals taught in this course and develop them into the acrobatic style of climbing often portrayed in climbing media. 

In sport climbing, a climber clips pre-placed bolts in the rock to protect themselves as they ascend. Most of our time will focus on the fundamentals of belaying, communicating between the climber and belayer, establishing and cleaning anchors, and movement technique.
