Summer Climbing Crew was developed to create space for consistency, for both education & community, for outdoor rock climbing during the summer months! We aren’t “just” climbing, so this year we are integrating mental health into this curriculum! Our general goal is to build confidence and community outdoors, all while having mindfulness focus.

Summer Climbing Crew is guided by AMGA Guide, Meg Nickman, and Mental Health Therapist, Laurel Cepero, LPCC.

This 4-week program meets once per week, after work (5:30-8:30pm ish), to explore different crags in Clear Creek Canyon, and is open to all women and genderqueer climbers. Our hope is to create a space that allows exploration of mindful climbing and intention setting, for expansion of comfort zones, and gives support to each participant to push themselves physically and/or mentally based on their personal goals. **While it's a 4-week program, we have a 5th day reserved in the event of inclement weather**

Summer Dates:

August 1, 8, 15, 22 and extra weather day set for August 29.

**Registration needed only for the first day of class, as you won't see the other date options available**
