What? Come join us for a fun weekend climbing and camping in the bold and beautiful venues around Moab, Utah during a time when the moab flora starting to bloom! 

Who? This event is open for climbers (women + genderqueer) of all levels and experiences. 

When? The plan for the weekend is to meet in Moab on Thursday, April 4, climb on Friday and Saturday, and depart on Sunday morning, April 7.

Where? Based on the forecast, group energy and goals, we will plan to climb at the Ice Cream Parlour, Abraxas, Potash, Day Canyon, Long Canyon, River Road Dihedrals and Takeout Beach areas on Friday and Saturday. 

Additional Fun: **If you'd like to climb the Ancient Art Tower, you can opt into that with Meg on Thursday, April 4 (meaning you'd need to arrive on Wednesday evening). Investment in this experience is $420 for the full day and is not offered on a sliding scale. **

Investment: $350-520. It's a range because we utilize a sliding scale. We know that financial barriers exist for quality rock climbing education and experiences. And we want women + genderqueer climbers who want to attend our events to have the opportunity to come, regardless of their financial status.  As such, She Sends Collective implemented a sliding scale model for ALL of our Outdoor Education Programs, Camp + Climb, and Climb + Coffee events that started in 2020.

We want to make the process simple and trust based. We trust that individuals will be truthful about their financial situations, and will allow this program to serve those who need it. Running this program is difficult and costly for us at a foundational level. And worth it when you are being truthful. 

Here's a loose guideline to help you decide where you might fall on the sliding scale: 

• I am financially comfortable and able to support SSC’s sliding scale model for future participants (this includes $20 donation that goes directly to sliding scale) > $520 
• I can afford regular weekend trips and their associated costs > $500
• I can afford or save up for occasional weekend trips and their associated costs > $400-450
• I can pay for basic needs and some luxury items > $350-$400 or reach out about a payment plan
• It can be hard to pay rent and cover other basic necessities > please reach out directly to chelsea@shesendscollective.com  - we want to help you if we are able!
