New to rock climbing but eager to get on leading routes and setting up climbs for your friends and family? Do you want to accelerate your climbing journey with professional instructors and mountain guides?
Join Enchanted Mountain Guides on a 4-day leadership development course that encapsulates setting up top-ropes, sport climbing & single pitch rescue. By the end of this course students will be able to become a leader for their families, and friends in getting them out to the real rock.
Sample Iterinary
Day 1: Gym to Crag - fundamentals of traditional, bolted and natural anchors for top roping
Day 2: Intro to Sport Climbing - route & equipment selection for leadin sport routes to set up top-rope anchors for friends and families.
Day 3: Single Pitch Rescue Drill - rescue and problem solving for hazard management as a leader of a group.
Day 4: Student Assignments: complete student led day to apply all the tools into a full day of rock climbing.
