Launch off for a leasurly float then watch the sun set behind Massanutten mountain atop a paddle board while on the warm waters of the South Fork of the Shenandoah River through Rockingham County. On this out-and-back trip, enjoy up to 2 miles of mostly deep water pools that give you a lot of options to enjoy the river at your pace on this Eco Tour. We'll stop about 1/2 from the boat ramp to watch the sun fall behind the mountain, then work out way back to the boat ramp during twilight.
Conveniently located only 30 minutes away Harrisonburg or 45 minutes from Staunton/Waynesboro! Our friendly and knowledgeable guide will be with you during your whole trip.
Each tour begins with a lesson teaching beginners to advanced paddlers followed by a relaxed guided paddle.
Highlights include: Evening wildlife activity, clear water, sunset, beginner friendly! (and probably some bugs)
