This three-day mountaineering course is centered around the logistical planning of trips, technical rope work, anchoring, and multi-pitch transitions while culminating in a student-led objective. This course is designed to build upon and solidify topics covered in our Intro to Mountaineering and Crevasse Rescue Courses.
Hands-on experience and time in the driver's seat are crucial for learning to happen in the mountains. There will be plenty of time to ask questions, practice skills, plan logistics, and take the lead under a highly trained professional. A solid working knowledge of climbing techniques and crevasse rescue is recommended to get the most out of this course.
