When renting a kayak, there are a few essential items that you should bring with you to ensure a safe and comfortable experience on the water. Here are some equipment recommendations:
Personal flotation device (PFD): A PFD is a must-have safety item for kayaking. All of our kayak rentals come with a PFD, but you may prefer to bring your own for added comfort and peace of mind.
Clothing appropriate for the weather: Dress in layers so that you can adjust your clothing as needed based on the temperature and weather conditions. Wear synthetic or wool fabrics that will keep you warm even if they get wet. Avoid cotton clothing, which will get wet and stay wet, making you cold and uncomfortable.
Sun protection: Bring sunscreen, sunglasses, and a hat to protect your skin and eyes from the sun.
Water and snacks: Staying hydrated and fueled during your kayak adventure is important. Bring plenty of water and some snacks to keep you energized.
Dry bag: A dry bag is a great way to keep your personal items, such as your phone and wallet, dry while you're out on the water.

Cancellation or rescheduling requests made more than 48 hours prior to the scheduled rental date and time will be accommodated with no penalty. Customers can choose to reschedule their rental for a later date or receive a full refund.
