Ongoing Series where we tackle the specific skills needed to master one trail
Trail: RHODO RUCKUS
Saturday June 3rd, 1pm-3pm
In this series of skills clinics, we’ll pick one trail to master at a time. We’ll cover the essential skills needed to be great on this one trail. Kanuga’s Rhodo Ruckus trail is a blue rated downhill flow trail. To be great on this trail, you’ll need to focus on effective body positions to handle the numerous rollers and berm corners. You’ll need effective braking skills to scrub speed before those features, and some cornering technique like rotation and angulation to get around those berms, driving the bike in control. To go faster, you’ll need great pressure control skills to be able to absorb and pump the rollers and corners. We’ll cover those skills individually in a controlled environment and apply them on Rhodo Ruckus itself.
