Emergency First Aid w/ CPR C - (OFA -1) - 8hrs
Lifesaving Society’s Bronze Medallion and Cross award - 35hrs
As a whole, this 5-day course is offered to those who are interested in learning the skills and techniques to perform open water rescues combined with Emergency first aid and follow-up procedures.
After a 1- day Emergency First Aid course, candidates develop proficiencies at performing open water rescue’s combining patient assessments, managing spinal injuries, and preventing loss of life in a variety of scenario practices. All while developing stroke/board paddling, endurance, and fitness. leadership, water safety supervision, risk management , and remote location considerations are topics of discussion.
