Ever wanted to spear a fish? Here’s your chance! Hamlin Lake has seen a surge in non-game fish in recent years, creating an abundance of targets of opportunity for those brave enough to venture onto the water after dark in search of adventure.

Flip on the floodlights, grab a multi-tined spear (think Aquaman’s trident), and hunt fish in the shallows—all from the comfort of a well-equipped boat. This family-friendly experience is perfect for anglers of all skill levels. Along the way, you’ll encounter a variety of non-target species, as well as many of the nocturnal critters that call the lake home. Our experienced captain will guide you to some of the best spots to spear fish, providing the opportunity to harvest “rough fish” such as freshwater drum, bowfin, suckers, carp, bullhead, and gar.

It’s a hands-on, thrilling adventure—part Survivor, part family vacation—that will create unforgettable memories for years to come. No wonder it’s one of our most popular experiences!

Our charters have a minimum booking of 2 guests. To guarantee a private party, we recommend booking 3 or more guests. Parties of 2 may be combined with other anglers on a shared charter.
