No experience necessary. Beginner and Intermediate Men's snowkite clinic. Ages 13+. Bring normal ski or snowboard gear for downhill, including helmet. Snowkites and Instruction included. 3+ hr clinic. The purpose of this snowkite clinic is to get participants up and riding behind a kite. Students will learn wind theory, kite control, independent riding skills, safety and self launching and landing techniques. Clinic taught by Tom Fredericks of Alaska Kite Adventures. Tom has been a snowkiting and kiteboarding pioneer in Alaska since 2006, he started the first kiteboarding school in Alaska and loves sharing his passion for wind sports with new students. *clinic location Mile 26.5 Richardson Hwy. *75.00 general festival fee included with purchase of clinic.
