The Wooly Bugger Ranch, new for Mountain Angler in 2020, is a unique fishery that has quickly become a favorite with Mountain Angler clients and guides and is exclusive for the Mountain Angler guide service. Located near Alma, Colorado the Wooly Bugger Ranch consists of over a 1/2 mile of the Middle Fork of the South Platte River. This wild section holds countless browns in the 10-16 inch range, with the chance for larger migratory browns in late summer and fall. This is a moderately difficult wading stream and is an ideal property for anglers of all experience levels.
