Mojave Guides is an AMGA accredited guide service in Joshua Tree, California. This accreditation ensures that we are upholding the highest of industry standards, including rigorous and uniform guide training, compliance with state and federal law, and that we promote ethical business practices. Our guides are contributing members of both the climbing community and our local community in Joshua Tree. We look forward to introducing you to our favorite place!

Trip: Joshua Tree Choose Your Own Adventure - Half Day (AM)

We couldn’t have asked for a better day with our guide, James. As soon as we met him, his enthusiasm immediately loosened up our kids and they were eager to get going. James took us into the park and set us up on a rock wall that was equally challenging for the parents and the kids. As we climbed high into the sky, we felt safe under James’ direction and we each made it to the top of the wall. He was patient and helpful every step of the wall. After rock climbing, our kids wanted to move on to a scramble hike. James new of the perfect spot which we would have never found on our own. We climbed through tight holes and walked through tunnels which made for a memorable experience and great photos so we never forget. We had our own personal guide and we wouldn’t have experienced Joshua Tree any other way. We would highly recommend James to any family looking to have an amazing day without the stress of bringing all the climbing equipment and planning the routes. Thank you Mojave Guides!!

We had an excellent time with Ryan rock climbing and hiking in a slot canyons. We had no experience rock climbing but he made it accessible, fun and challenging all 4 members of our family. The Chasm of Doom hike was a favorite for all of us. We highly recommend Mojave Guides and Ryan Mann.
