All Mako trips include all fly rods, leaders and flies, chum, teasers. No need to bring anything!

Our lobster fishing trip is a 5-hour adventure spent in San Diego Bay dropping baited hoop nets to the bottom and pulling them back up after they have had a soak.

Your trip will start with a quick stop at the bait barge to load up on sardine to use for bait. As soon as we have our bait, we will prepare the hoop nets for deployment as we search for our area to fish for the evening.

All trips include:

7 rigged hoop nets and bait cages
Bait
Cooler with ice and waters for you to drink and use for storing your food and beverages

Lobster card and fishing license not included

20% gratuity NOT inlcuded.

All charters are fully insured and skippered by a coastguard certified and licensed captain. Fuel is included in the price of the charter and vessel is in compliance with all coast guard required saftey equipment.

What to bring

*Valid lobster report card for every passeger on board- will need to be purchased at a local tackle shop.

*Valid California fishing license is required for EVERY passenger wether fishing or not. Please have license in hand prior to arriving at meeting area. California license can be purchased online prior to scheduled date. CLICK HERE TO PURCHASE ONLINE*

Cancellation Policy

A non refundable deposit of 50% is required to book your trip. The 50% balance due is owed prior to departure on the day of the scheduled trip. Trips canceled due to weather will be refunded in full. Cancelations made up to 2 weeks prior to your trip will recieve a full refund of the depsoit paid. Trips canceled within 2 weeks will be refunded 50% of deposit paid and trips canceled with in 7 days of your scheduled trip will not recieve a refund on deposit.
