Have you been at the crag and witnessed another climber become seriously hurt while climbing a route? Or have you witnessed a newer climber become rigid with fear after getting to the top of a climb, with no words of encouragement able to free their grip from the anchor? Potentially you and your partner had a close encounter with a swarm Africanized Bees? These are just a few of the many scenarios that require the knowledge of Self Rescue.

This Single-Pitch Self Rescue Course is a perfect course for any climber that is now enjoying the sport outside. Whether an incident occurs to us, our partner, or another climbing party beside you, it is an empowering feeling to know what to do in order to assist the situation. Don't be the climber at the crag that doesn't know what to do if something goes wrong!

This course does not provide information on the treatment of patients who have been injured in the backcountry environment. A Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Certification is a great benefit for any backcountry enthusiast and highly recommended!
