Advanced Ice 2-Day Course:

Have you dreamed of climbing the roofs on Bridalveil Falls?Does the idea of climbing ice daggers and pillars make your palms sweaty? What about when the ice gets too thin or fragile for full swings? This course has a singular focus: learn how to climb hard ice.

After ensuring that your rope skills and ice techniques are safe and up to speed, you’ll leave your current understanding of ice climbing at the door and expand into terrain where intermediate technique is no longer sufficient.

You’ll safely push out of your comfort zone and learn what it takes to climb the routes that are on your bucket list. This course is for someone who has already taken an Intermediate Ice Course or the more experienced recreational ice climber looking to push their boundaries and limits under guided instruction.

You'll finish this course tired, mentally and physically, and very excited for the future of your ice climbing journey or career.

Note* This course requires a higher level of fitness than our other courses. It pushes your limits on top rope, so coming physically prepared for 2 days of intense exercise is paramount to get the full value out of this course.

This course runs at a lower ratio than our other courses, only 2 spots are available per course. We meet at 7:30am on the first day for gear fitting, then head into the Ice Park. We meet at 7:45am on the second day.
