Climb one of the dramatic ravines led by qualified guides. This is a great way to prepare for bigger mountaineering objectives like Baker, Rainier or Denali. Skills covered will include traveling in crampons on steep snow slopes and low angle ice, roped travel, use of anchor systems. In order to participate, you must have some prior experience with rock climbing, indoors or outdoors, AND experience hiking on snow. You should also have a good level of fitness as this is a long day.
