Join us for a climbing day with San Juan Expeditions and Durango Slaydies at Stripe Wall in the heart of the San Juan Mountains, Silverton, CO. This is a great crag that offers shade throughout the day right by the river. ALL LEVELS of climbers are welcome.
Durango slaydies is an all women’s community founded upon mentorship that brings connection to self and land through adventure, challenge and education in the southwest. The goal of the day is to learn basic and intermediate climbing skills from two Female AMGA educated and certified guides. Guaranteed to be one heck of a good time and a group of rad slaydies!
Durango Slaydies is a women specific group creating events for those who want to get into various recreational sports. This may include rock climbing, bouldering, mountain biking, trail running, backcountry skiing, skiing, and even yoga, and fitness classes etc. We will set up clinics for bike maintenance, skiing techniques, rock climbing skills, etc. We are also creating events for more advanced players. This might include endurance runs, backcountry skiing and avy skills, technical mountain biking etc. We understand that getting into recreational sports can sometimes have a barrier that is hard to break and can be intimidating. Not to mention, many of us want to just be with other like-minded women, slay and have fun! We encourage growth and support your outdoor goals. This is for the ladies of Durango and surrounding towns.

We will meet in the morning at 9 am at the San Juan Expeditions Office located at 1303 Greene St. Then we will drive over to the crag which is about 5 minutes from the office.
