Are you looking to explore longer, more adventurous, rock climbs? Does that require understanding how traditional gear works?

 

Familiarize yourself with rock anchoring principles and gear placement concepts in this one-day seminar. Here you can expect to build a strong framework of gear assessment and gain confidence in your abilities as a traditional climber to build strong, solid anchors.

 

We focus on these concepts through practice both on and off the rock.

 

All climbing will be done on a top rope, in the single pitch environment, in order to expose you to the most repetition of these new techniques as possible.

 

This course is offered in Eldorado Canyon State Park.
