It was my first time ever getting in a kayak! Yes, I was a tad bit anxious. However, the descriptions on Tandem Adventures website made me feel safe & confident that even as a beginner, I could do this. Chris & Tyrell calmed my fears and were so helpful & understanding. Both guides were excellent teachers about kayaking & being on the water. It was fun learning while having an absolute great time sightseeing from the James River in Richmond, Va!
