It is highly recommended to take our SIngle-Pitch Self Rescue Course as a prerequisite, are comfortable leading multi-pitch routes, and/or are comfortable belaying from the top of a climb. Please contact us for more information or with any questions!

Have you been in the backcountry and witnessed another climber become seriously hurt while climbing a multi-pitch route? Or have you had to "learn the hard way" how to assist your partner off of a multi-pitch climb after they took a big fall on the crux pitch? Potentially you and your partner had a close encounter with a storm rolling in on an alpine endeavor? These are just a few of the many scenarios that require the knowledge of Self Rescue for the multi-pitch environment.

This two-day Multi-Pitch Self Rescue Course is a perfect course for any climber that is now enjoying bigger, more committing mountain objectives. Whether an incident occurs to us, our partner, or another climbing party beside you, it is an empowering feeling to know what to do in order to assist the situation. Don't be the climbing partner that doesn't know what to do if something goes wrong!

This course does not provide information on the treatment of patients who have been injured in the backcountry environment. A Wilderness First Responder (WFR) Certification is a great benefit for any backcountry enthusiast and highly recommended!
