OR | Hike | Multiple Waterfall Hikes in Oregon Old Growth Forest

Enjoy a day filled with nature inspiration hiking through some of the best Oregon has to offer such as old growth trees and beautiful glacier and river fed waterfalls. We will take multiple hikes totaling around 3 miles with some short steep grades to visit at least two different waterfalls down remote forest service roads. Fill your cup and your camera with lush forest views, enjoying flowers in the spring and mushrooms in the fall. Breathe in the freshness of water cascading 60-105 feet down waterfalls enshrined with fern and moss covered rocks. We will take time to explore, take pictures or just sit and absorb the beauty of the area along the way and at each destination.

About Me: I’ve enjoyed living in and exploring Oregon’s natural wonders for over 22 years. I’m a plant, mushroom, and rock enthusiast with plenty to keep me delighted right here in my home state. I like to slow down and take my time soaking in the experiences of forest hikes and destinations, taking pictures, and noticing plants, mushrooms and wildlife.
Provided Gear: filtered water to refill you water bottles, light gluten free & vegan snack.
Required Gear: There are often wet areas along the hike, so bring good hiking boots that will keep your feet dry and good traction to navigate slippery spots. A rain jacket and rain pants are a good idea so you can stay dry even when up close and personal with booming cascading water or taking a seat on damp and/or wet surfaces nearby. Due to elevation, it will be cooler here than in the valley, so layer up. Please remember to bring your own water bottle.
Nice-To-Have Gear: Camera/phone, walking poles, small day pack with picnic lunch if you would like more than a light snack.
