Ethan Vannata
About me
My name is Ethan Vannata, I spent my childhood growing up and exploring in southern New Hampshire. In 2018 I hiked the Appalachian trail end to end in six months. After this experience I was inspired to work as an outdoor educator. I began studying Adventure Education at Plymouth State University and graduated in 2022. Since beginning this journey I have become certified in Wilderness First Responder (WFR), Single pitch rock climbing instruction (SPI), and as a leave no trace master educator. I have a variety of outdoor and adventure education experience including, backcountry expeditions, white water rafting, backpacking, climbing and mountaineering on Mt. Washington, New Hampshire’s tallest peak. In my free time I enjoy doing anything outside especially climbing of all types, whether on ice or rock.

Our hike today with Ethan was beyond expectations. Ethan met us at the Highland Center and took great interest in making sure we had a memorable day. He began the day with describing clothing, gear and nutrition required for a successful hike. The pace he set to the summit was great and he also spent every opportunity to tell us about the flora and fauna along the way. We’ll certainly do this again! Thank you!
