About me

A Denver Native, a mother of a feisty 2.5 yr old boy, a snowboarder and lover of fresh turns. Life is never easy and we are never prepared for what may or may not happen. I’ve learned to lean into what I can control and release what I can't control. 

I've been working in the snow industry for 16 years. I began as a lifty and quickly moved on to Ski patrol, where I started training with OEC and then quickly moved into an EMT B & I licensing,  I moved back to CO from Angel Fire, NM. From there I knew I wanted to be a mountain guide and moved back to CO to begin building the road I am now on. I worked as a big mountain snowboard coach for the WP comp-center team, and started getting more involved in the backcountry and big mountain competition world. I left WP and began delving deeper into backcountry education. 

 I love to explore, maps make my heart happy, and snow lights my soul on fire. My hope is to see more women confident and connecting in the backcountry. It’s not easy being femanine in a mascline industry, But as I’ve heard this year “When mother skis, the whole family skis!”  So for now I will keep climbing and moving along with my professional development towards becoming an educator, and happy to be guiding with Jones Pass Guides.
