Assigning A Default Guide To A Listing

When creating a new listing:

  1. Click New Listing from the Listings dashboard.
  2. Select the category your listing best fits
  3. Under Default Assigned Guides, choose the guide that will be the default guide for that listing on any dates. Note: If no guide is assigned, Origin will send SMS requests to all guides until the trip is claimed as noted here.
  4. Continue creating your listing

When editing a current listing:

  1. If you’ve already created a listing but want to retroactively assign a default guide, click Listings on the left panel.
  2. Find the listing you’d like to assign a default guide to and click the pen and paper icon in the Edit Listing column.
  3. Under Default Assigned Guides, choose the guide that will be the default guide for that listing on any dates.
  4. Click Next to save changes.
